Emergency Medicine (Cross appointed with Family Medicine)
Dr. Rogers completed medical school at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University in 2001 and then completed a Family Medicine Residency, followed by Emergency Medicine training at the University of Western Ontario. He has been practising as a full-time adult Emergency Physician in St. John's since 2004.
Dr. Rogers currently holds the rank of Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine with ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University. As well, he is the Medical Director for Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Eastern Health.
His academic interests involve point-of-care ultrasound, simulation, and medical education. He is currently enrolled in a Masters of Medical Education through the University of Dundee.
His current research project is looking at the use of POCUS in rural Family Medicine residents.
