Canadian Specialty Profiles
The provide descriptions of various specialties available in Canada. They were prepared by the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) in collaboration with Dr. June Harris of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½.
Profiles are available for family medicine and 38 of the 93 Royal College certified specialties, subspecialties, specialty programs and areas of focused competence.
The Profiles provide a description and information on:
- practice environment
- time allocations
- expected income
- professional satisfaction
This information may be used, in conjunction with other resources, to help medical learners decide which specialty may be of interest to them.
