Facilities Management
Facilities Management and Infrastructure Support are managed slightly differently in the Faculty of Medicine than they are elsewhere at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University. Because we share our facilities with Eastern Health, we have entered into a Shared Services Agreement with them such that they provide a number of services to us for a management fee. Services provided to us by Eastern health include: Housekeeping, Building Maintenance, fire alarm and communications, materials handling and safety. Services that are provided by ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University Facilities Management are also purchased by the Faculty of Medicine and include: heat/utilities, technical services, security, waste removal and snow clearing.
