For 60 years, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University’s Faculty of Nursing has educated nurses who play vital roles in health care in Newfoundland and Labrador, across Canada and around the world. Leading Excellence sets out how we will foster healthier communities through collaboration, innovation and inclusion.

The Faculty of Nursing will be an exemplary model in promoting health for all peoples of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our mission

We are committed to being leaders in promoting health and well-being, equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism and indigenization through innovative education, transformative research, and proactive and responsive service. Our graduates will excel in nursing practice and exemplify these attributes.
