5.2 Special/Selected Topics Courses
-
A special/selected topics course must observe University Regulations (Undergraduate), Special/Selected Topics Courses.
-
Special/selected topics courses are offered infrequently and only in unusual circumstances.
-
A special/selected topics course is ineligible to appear in the Calendar entry of an interdisciplinary Major or Minor program, a diploma program or a certificate program unless the course originates in that program, and is not eligible for the CRW, IS, LS or QR designations. A student or course instructor may, in consultation with the academic Head or program director, submit a written request to the Faculty’s Undergraduate Waivers and Appeals Committee for a course substitution waiver which, if granted, will normally be conditional on the course being regularized.
