Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic)
The Office of Provost and Vice-President (Academic) has pan-university responsibility for institutional operations ensuring that budget, policies, and administrative structures are aligned in support of the academic mission and strategic priorities.
Dr. Jennifer Lokash is currently ÐÓ°É´«Ã½'s provost and vice-president (academic), and in this role is also the pro vice-chancellor, a member of the Board of Regents and chair of Vice-Presidents Council (VPC).
ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ adopted a provostial structure in 2012 to be more responsive to the diverse operational needs of such a complex institution and enable greater coordination and collaboration among vice-presidential portfolios. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ continues to grow with more students, more faculty and evolving priorities. A provostial structure ensures that the governance and administrative structure better reflects the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University of today.
