The Registrar’s Office supports the work of convocation by overseeing all academic pieces including:

Reviewing and approving all undergraduate applications to graduate. Graduation applications for graduate students are verified by the School of Graduate Studies.
Supporting the activities of the University Marshal.
Co-ordinating communications and activities that support the honorary degree recipients.

Faculty members are permitted and encouraged to participate in convocation.

The awarding of the distinction of Professor Emerita/us is an important feature of �Ӱɴ�ý’s Convocation. The selection process is confidential and is overseen by the Senate Committee on Honorary Degrees and Ceremonial. This process is referenced in the Senate Handbook of By-laws and Procedures.
