Stephanie Young received her BSc (Pharmacy) from ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University in 1990, her PharmD from Idaho State University in 2003, and her MSc (Medicine, Community Health) from ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University in 2009. She worked for over 15 years as a hospital pharmacist in a number of clinical pharmacy areas before joining the School of Pharmacy full time in October 2005.

• Pharmacy Professional Practice

• Cardiovascular disease
• Thrombosis and anticoagulation
• Pharmacy practice

Current Projects:

• Evaluation of a Thrombosis and Anticoagulation Management Program to Facilitate Safer Management of Patients Receiving Anticoagulant Therapies
• Role of the Pharmacist in a Multidisciplinary Thrombosis Service
• Exploring Patients’ Experience With Their VTE Clinical Pathway Care and Identifying Gaps and Strategies for Improvement in Care Processes
