Professionalism Expectations of Undergraduate Medical Learners
Learners are expected to display professionalism at all times in interactions with each other, with patients, and their families/significant others, staff, and with members of the public. The following attributes of professionalism apply to undergraduate medical learners and form the basis of a social contract between a physician and society; they are outlined in detail in the Statement of Professional Attributes:

- Compassion and Empathy
- Responsibility and Duty
Learners shall also abide by the codes of conducts and policies regarding a respectful learning environment and workplace listed on the Professionalism and Mistreatment page.
All learners in ÐÓ°É´«Ã½'s MD program are required to have Educational Registration with either the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland & Labrador (CPSNL) or the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Prince Edward Island (CPSPEI), which both require adherance to the .
