The cooperation of all parties involved is required to ensure that the University conducts teaching and research safely. Environmental Health and Safety has an administrative responsibility for assisting laboratory personnel in developing safe work practices and for compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations.
Hazardous Waste Disposal Pick-Up
To request a hazardous waste pick up, complete and electronically submit a Hazardous Waste Form. There are different forms for Faculty of Science (FOS) and non-FOS users.
Emergency waste disposal pickup is available upon request. Should you need to avail of emergency hazardous waste disposal, please contact Lab Safety at labsafety@mun.ca between the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 PM
