ACENET Open House

Members of the university community are invited to attend a free open house hosted by ACENET, the consortium of universities in the Atlantic region offering advanced research computing resources, expertise and training.

Date: Monday, May 16
Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Locations: The Landing, room UC-3018 in the University Centre and the Genesis Board Room, room IIC-3001, in the Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation 

Come for one session or attend the full day!

Scheduled sessions are the following:

  • 9-10 a.m. Presentation: Introduction to ACENET for Arts, Social Sciences & Humanities (UC-3018, The Landing, University Centre)
  • 10-11 a.m. Panel Discussion: Advanced Computing Applications in Career Paths (UC-3018, The Landing, University Centre)
  • 11 a.m. to noon Workshop: Introduction to Advanced Research Computing Basics (IIC-3001, Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation)
  • 12:45-1:30 p.m. Presentation: Celebrating ACENET Researchers (UC-3018, The Landing, University Centre)
  • 1:30-3 p.m. Open Forum Discussions (UC-3018, The Landing, University Centre)
  • 1:30-3 p.m. Workshop: Using Compute Canada Cloud & Other Platforms (IIC-3001, Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation)

Each session is free but registration is recommended.
