School of Music Grad Students and Alum Win at Junos
ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University’s graduate music programs were well represented at this year's Juno awards. Duane Andrews, well-known St. John’s-based guitarist and a current master of music in instrumental conducting candidate in the School of Music , won a Juno award with his group The Swinging Belles. Duane and the Belles won the Juno for best children’s album of the year.
Graduate alumnus Don Bossé was the winner of the MusiCounts Teacher of the Year award, and honoured at the Junos for his spectacular achievements in music education. Don completed his Master of Music in instrumental conducting at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½'s School of Music in 2007.
