SUBJECT: ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University to recognize alumni celebrating 50-plus years of graduation

Dr. Gary Kachanoski, president and vice-chancellor, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, will host the inaugural ceremony in recognition of alumni celebrating 50-plus years of graduation, tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. in the D.F. Cook Recital Hall, School of Music. A reception will follow.
The President’s Golden Celebration will honour approximately 110 of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s earliest graduates, some of whom are celebrating 83 years since graduation from ÐÓ°É´«Ã½.
Dr. Kachanoski will present these exceptional individuals with a commemorative pin, which symbolizes the ties that bind, the pride of the university and, most importantly, a sincere thank you to alumni.
The President’s Golden Celebration is part of Reunion 2013 events.
