SUBJECT: PSA: ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Universitys Faculty of Medicine hosting speaker on stroke research

Dr. Jared Clarke will present Translational Studies: Taking Stroke Research from the Lab Bench to the Kitchen Table at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Universitys Faculty of Medicine in the Health Sciences Centre lecture theatre B from 1-2 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 10. This lecture is open to the public and admission is free.
This presentation will focus on how stroke research at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ has pursued improved recovery for stroke survivors and how research from different fields uniquely impact practice. From a career perspective, it will also provide a vignette on Dr. Clarkes recent transition from the realm of biomedical science to community-based research.
Dr. Clarkes presentation is part of the speaker series within the Division of Community Health and Humanities in the Faculty of Medicine.
