SUBJECT: PSA: ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University’s Ceremony of Remembrance to take place Thursday, Nov. 10

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University will remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice during a special Ceremony of Remembrance on the St. John’s campus at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Nov. 10. The ceremony will take place in the Reid Theatre in the Arts and Administration building.
Members of the public, students, faculty, staff, retirees and alumni are invited to attend the ceremony, which pays special tribute to the 30 former ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ students who fought and died in the Great Wars.
The university’s public orator and professor emeritus, Shane O’Dea, will be the master of ceremonies. Dr. Kevin Major, a ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University honorary graduate and author, will read from his novel No Man’s Land. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Gary Kachanoski will bring remarks on behalf of the university.
ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University will be closed Friday, Nov. 11, to mark Remembrance Day. No classes are scheduled for that day.
