SUBJECT: ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ geologist to be featured at the Geo Centre

In recognition of the International Year Of Planet Earth, The Johnson GEO CENTRE and the Geological Association of Canada, NL Section will present a public viewing of the CBC Documentary, The Geologic Journey at 7 p.m., Feb.18 at The Johnson Geo Centre. This episode focuses on the Canadian Shield in particular Labrador and the important field work being carried out by Dr. Derek Wilton of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University. Dr. Wilton will be present at the showing and he, together with other key leaders from the geological community will be available for a Question and Answer session after the presentation. All members of the public are welcome and admission is free. A cash bar will be available. Come see the spectacular geology and scenery of Labrador and meet the experts.
