Mike Shannon, vice president of Operations and Engineering with the Iron Ore Company (IOC) of Canada, together with Dr. Tom Gordon, director of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s School of Music, will host a news conference at the Labrador West Arts and Culture Centre on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, at 2 p.m.
At the news conference they will announce details of Northern Soundscape, an exciting new partnership that will deliver cultural and music opportunities for school-aged students in Labrador West. The innovative music program is being sponsored by IOC and will be implemented through ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s School of Music.
Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives to the news conference.
