SUBJECT: Conference on innovations in health education and professional development

NOTE TO EDITORS:
The 2006 conference of the Canadian Association of Continuing Health Education (CACHE) takes place Sept. 9-11 at the Delta St. John’s Hotel. It is being hosted by ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University’s Professional Development and Conferencing Services.
The conference theme is innovations in continuing health education and continuing professional development. The keynote address will be presented Sunday Sept. 10 at 8:15 a.m. by Sister Elizabeth M. Davis, a longstanding leader in health and education in the province.
Fran Kirby, director of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s University’s Professional Development and Conferencing Services, is a board member of CACHE. She is co-chair of the 2006 conference with Dr. Vernon Curran, co-director of the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education.
