Celebrate ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ continues with its 10-day celebration of events for members of the university community and beyond. As part of this year’s theme, Connecting to Community, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University presents internationally renowned speaker, child and youth advocate, Craig Kielburger who will deliver a talk titled Leaders Today: A Morning with Craig Kielburger at 10 a.m.on Friday, Oct. 29, in the Field House, Westerland Road. A limited number of tickets are available to the general public at no cost. These tickets can be picked up at the Career Development office on the 4th floor of the University Centre, Arctic Avenue. Celebrate ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is an annual celebration of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s connection to the community. What began in 1999 with the Festival of Anniversaries, highlighting ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s 50th anniversary as a degree-granting institution, has today become a celebration of the contributions that ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s students, faculty, staff and alumni make to Newfoundlandand Labrador.
