SUBJECT: PSA: Visiting lecturer to examine the myths of masculinity

As part of Celebrate ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ 2004, Dr. Christopher Kilmartin, professor of psychology at Mary Washington College in Virginia, will give a public talk on Tuesday, Oct. 26. The talk, titled Myths of Masculinity: Historical, Cultural and Social Contexts, will be held in room AA-1043, located in the Arts and Administration building, starting at 7 p.m.This talk is sponsored by the Sexual Harassment Office at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University. Members of the general public are invited to attend. Parking will be available in Lot15, across from the Schoolof Music.

Celebrate ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is an annual celebration of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s connection to the community. What began in 1999 with the Festival of Anniversaries, highlighting ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s 50th anniversary as a degree-granting institution, has today become a celebration of the contributions that ÐÓ°É´«Ã½’s students, faculty, staff and alumni make to Newfoundland and Labrador.
