SUBJECT: PSA: ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University to host Book Fair with local authors

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½Universitywill host a book fair, sponsored by CBC radio, titled ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Writes . . . About Newfoundlandand Labrador, as part of the festivities for Celebrate ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ 2004. The book fair will be held on Sunday, Oct. 24, from 1:30–5 p.m.in the University Club, 5th floor, Arts and Administration building, St. John’scampus, and will feature more than 25 authors connected to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ who are writing about Newfoundlandand Labrador. Special features include panel discussions on writing my first novel and the creative process, poetry readings by Alastair MacDonald and Mary Dalton, non-fiction readings by Dale Jarvis and Thomas Curran, and CBC Reads for Kids with Ted Blades and Jonathan Crowe. Admission is free and members of the community are invited to attend.
