Teaming-Up for Sanskrit
Religious Studies MUN is partnering with Religious Studies and Classics at Dalhousie University, offering a shared teaching plan for introductory Sanskrit courses. Drs. Christopher Austin (Dal) and Patricia Dold (MUN) are behind the shared teaching initiative. In the coming academic year (2021-22), Dr. Dold will teach the courses at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and broadcast to Dal students as a live online synchronous class. In future years, Dr. Austin will teach the classes at Dalhousie and broadcast to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. The aim of the initiative is ensure regular offering of Sanskrit at both institutions. A similar initiative has been established through a partnership between MUN Classics and Dal, for the teaching of teaching of upper-level Greek and Latin.
