People and Groups
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is perhaps the most diverse research and scholarly community within the University. Spread across over 15 academic departments, as well as institutes, centres, labs, archives, and groups. It's home to researchers at all stages in their scholarly careers - from our established and early career faculty researchers, postdoctoral fellows, to graduate and undergraduate students.
Research within the faculty is formally administered through its Departments. It is also home to Institutes, Centres, and Foundations, and an array of informal groups and labs. The faculty is also home to several research chairs with specific focus on topics of importance to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University, its sponsors, and the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
