Md Samsur Rahman
Currently I am completing my doctoral studies in the faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ (MUN). My area of research relates to the risk assessment and management of marine emergency logistics operation in remote harsh environment. I did a master of engineering degree at MUN (2014) and a bachelor degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2009. Prior to my graduate studies, I worked several months as a Naval Architect and later I served as a lecturer for two years at the Accident Research Institute of BUET. During my graduate program, I also did internships with Virtual Marine and C-CORE.
Research interests
Risk analysis of offshore systems, Probabilistic methods, Dynamic positioning
