Judy Cumby is an associate professor with the Faculty of Business Administration, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ University, where she has taught since 1988. Prof. Cumby teaches professional development courses for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Newfoundland and Labrador; is a student facilitator and session leader in the national Chartered Professional Accountant program; and is a technical reviewer of learning units for Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Prof. Cumby has published a number of accounting cases in various editions of Intermediate Accounting, Beechy, Conrod, Farrell, and McLeod-Dick, McGraw-Hill Ryerson Limited. Her research and teaching interests are focused on international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE).
