The Low Tide Collective presents: Weatherlore, a Visual Art and Poetry Exhibition
Rooted in noticing environmental patterns and paying attention to how they change over time, weatherlore is used to predict atmospheric conditions, growing seasons, and safe travel. In keeping with those knowledge traditions, this exhibition of visual art and poetry will explore cultural connections to landscapes and how we understand our place within them.
An exhibition opening and poetry reading will take place at the Botanical Garden, from 5-7pm on the evening of Friday, May 22nd.
This Exhibition will take place in the Botanical Garden's Conference Room. There is no admission to view the show, but the room may be booked. Please call ahead to confirm it is available.
Note: The gardens and trails are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in May, but may have office hours or art show veiwing available. It is always best to confirm by calling ahead: 709-864-8590
